“We pride ourselves on making fantastic quality clothing, and since we started we’ve offered our chinos in a choice of weights, lightweight- more like the weight of the chinos sold by most other brands, but in a really great quality pure cotton from Brisbane Moss in Todmorden, and heavyweight - like the weight of chino that we used to be able to buy everywhere, but are now only sold by luxury brands.
They’re both fantastic, but today we sell far more of the heavyweight than the lightweight, and so, because we’re a small brand and don’t have the cash to carry a huge stock of trousers we will stop making the lightweight ones. We’ve still some left, in a few colours, they’re brilliant for the summer, and warmer spring or autumn days, they’re in a few cuts, and because we price our Odds & Ends at the prices we charged when the product was first made you’ll find these lightweight chinos are now about 30% less than their heavyweight counterparts. Brilliant quality construction, brilliant fabric, and a bit of a bargain to boot.”
